WISDOM FOR JOYOUS LIVING

The radio program Wisdom For Joyous Living was developed based on Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.  He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed be free..."

We believe that this is best accomplished by bringing together experts in their field of work, who love the Lord and the Luke 4:18 commission.  Wisdom For Joyous Living strives to accomplish this by providing information in a forum that encourages dialog about important issues that are critical to helping "Set the captives free."  Topics of discussion include but are not limited to: The Black Family Series, Holiday Blues, Forgiveness, Racism and the Church, Freedom from Destructive Habits, Restoring Relationships and Challenging Injustice.

Wisdom For Joyous Living knows that the Word of God has special concern for the poor and the oppressed.  These people are especially close to God's heart and God grieves for their suffering.  God calls us to share His pain and to work to free persons from the chains of racism, poverty, homelessness and disease.  "We can't do it all, but we can do something."
