Dear Family,

As the year draws to a close in the snowy and cold of the winter season. It is also a holy season. With Hanukkah just completed and the Islamic New Year just begun, those among us who are Christian remain in a season of waiting. We await the coming of God as an infant named Jesus, a perfect light incarnate, born into the dark and cold of a world in need. This is the Christian narrative from which our ministry is born.

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you, Christian and non-Christian alike, who contribute to our shared work in expanding the light of knowledge, the search for truth, and the building of a more just and compassionate world. Your commitment and dedication are noteworthy and greatly appreciated.

I wish you and your family an abundance of blessings this holiday season and in the New Year. And, I look forward to celebrating all that we have accomplished together on January 1, 2011 with the launching of our new website SoulFeed.org.

On January 1, 2011 the domain www.wpjc.fm will no longer function.  You are encouraged to access our online ministry Feeding The Soul Christian Ministries which also includes our counseling ministry Healthy Living Seminars and the radio station WPJC.FM at our new "One Stop" website SoulFeed.org.

I wish you all a very merry Christmas and holiday season, and hope that your time with family and friends is joyful and blessed.  See you on January 1, 2011.

Sincerely

WHO WE ARE

Dr. Scott

Dr. Tracy Scott is Founder and President of Feeding The Soul Christian Ministries, Healthy Living Seminars and the radio station WPJC.FM. The former psychology intern and therapist of the Minirth Meier Clinic, Dr. Scott is a sought after speaker and he has authored several articles while providing counseling and leadership to many individuals, couples, families, ministries, churches and organizations.

Dr. Scott received his training in Christian counseling while working for many years at the historic Minirth Meier Clinic.  The Minirth Meier Clinic was considered the "gold standard" in Christian counseling.  Many ministries today base their brand of care on the Minirth Meier model.

Dr. Scott has an earned doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. He also completed post graduate education at the University of Chicago Health Studies Department; and a two year post doctorate fellowship in clinical neuropsychology/behavioral medicine at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago Illinois.

For the past 15 years, Dr. Scott has taught at several academic institutions including: Loyola University, Wheaton College, North Park University, Benedictine University and the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

In 2001, after a discussion with Dr. Henry Allen, Dr. Scott sensed a need for a seminar, radio and web based ministry that would address the needs of the underserved.  Dr. Scott envisioned a ministry based on Luke 4:18, that helped people find balance in life, while enhancing their relationship with Jesus Christ.

This ministry would work to help free persons from the chains of depression, racism, stress, health challenges and the broader issues involving individuals, families, churches and communities.

Dr. Scott is an ordained minister, seasoned seminar and conference speaker and he has over 20 years of providing Christian counseling.

Dr. Scott and his wife Denise have been married for more than 25 years.  They have two daughters, Dominique and Alexis. Dr. Scott is also a student of Taiji Chen Style and has studied this form for the past 5 years.

The Scott's also have three exotic dogs, Sasha, Imani and Gemini and they enjoy their antics.  The Scott's believe in responsible dog ownership and they use Jerry's K9 located in Phenix City Alabama for dog training.
